As summer approaches, Big Bay Café at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of its annual “King of Fruits Durian Feast” in early July! Durian enthusiasts can indulge in the daily buffet dinner and weekend afternoon tea buffet, where the golden richness of durian will captivate every palate. Upon stepping onto the hotel’s third floor, guests can visit the limited-time durian-themed photo spots, featuring eye-catching decorations and fun props, immersing themselves in a vibrant summer atmosphere while embarking on an aromatic gastronomic journey.

Big Bay Café – Weekend Exclusive “Irresistible Durian Temptations”Afternoon Tea Buffet

Every weekend from 5 July to 31 August 2025, Big Bay Café will present a durian-themed afternoon tea buffet, featuring a series of exquisite delicacies infused with fresh durian for all durian lovers.   Executive Pastry Chef Jérôme Husson has designed an irresistible lineup of desserts, including new creations such as Durian Bua Loi, velvety Durian Gelato, Durian Tiramisu and Milk Chocolate & Durian Pots de Crème. The ever-popular Durian Mochi, Durian Portuguese Tart, Durian Donut and Durian Basque Cheesecake, also make a strong return, ensuring every bite is unforgettable!

While on the savoury side, Executive Chef leads the culinary team in breaking boundaries, to create a series of innovative creations infused with durian. Highlights include Durian Cheese Omelette, Durian and Kaya Bun, Pandan Steamed Bun with Durian Dip, Durian Pizza andCrispy Fried Durian Balls, allowing guests to indulge in a rich and full-bodied gastronomic celebration.

Each adult will receive two complimentary pieces of seasonal durian segments, with the chance to savour the robust and aromatic D197 Musang King, the delightfully sweet D24 Sultan King, the sweet and tender D175 Red Prawn. The selection of durian varieties may vary daily, subjected to daily supply.

Big Bay Café – “Summer Durian Fiesta” Dinner Buffet

From 4 July to 31 August, Big Bay Café’s elevates durian buffet to new heights, integrating durian into multinational cuisines for the first time. Each dinner station will showcase a variety of amazing durian-infused dishes in each kitchen area.

Guests can begin the durian feast with Thai-style Durian Green Mango Crab Salad. Fresh crab meat is combined with refreshing green mango and rich flavour of durian to awakens guests’ palate. The culinary journey continues with the Durian Curry Seafood Pot, where plump tiger prawns and mussels are simmered in an aromatic curry base infused with durian’s richness to create a delightful balance of spiciness and sweetness. Slow-Grilled Pork Ribs are glazed with signature durian barbecue sauce to deliver caramelised succulence, with their smoky tenderness perfectly balanced by the sauce’s sweet-savoury harmony.

Following these savoury masterpieces, guests must not miss a collection of irresistible desserts made with seasonal durian. Indulge in the crisp golden shells of Durian Crispy Fried Milk, Durian Puff Pastry and Durian Sago Pudding. And continues with the decadent Durian Puff, Durian Crème Brûlée, Durian Flan and Sticky Rice with Durian Coconut Sauce. Each creation transforms the king of fruits into a sweet finale, ensuring the evening concludes on an unforgettable note of tropical bliss.

Every adult enjoying the dinner buffet will receive a complimentary Durian Tasting Platter, allowing guests to enjoy three kinds of daily durian segments from Monday to Thursday, while savour four types of selected fresh durian pieces from Friday to Sunday. The composition of the Durian Tasting Platter may vary, subjected to daily supply.

• D101 Mas – delicate sweetness and velvety
